August update:

As of July 1st, 2021 there are no current restrictions on gatherings for indoor venues. That means that masks are not required, there are no social distancing rules and we no longer need to enforce occupancy limitations based on current risk levels.

This is great news for our couples and we have loved seeing everyone’s happy faces!

We are keeping up to date on the progressions of COVID variants, and if we hear of any possibility of restrictions being implemented again, we will let everyone know ASAP.

Here’s what we know…

  1. Most of you probably saw the announcement from the CDC and Governor of Oregon that mask mandates have now been lifted for those people who are fully vaccinated. Current mask requirements are still in place for un-vaccinated people. This decision has put businesses in the very uncomfortable position of having to decide how to move forward with requiring guests (or not) to wear masks while in their space. The Bindery has decided that at this time we will still require masks for all guests and vendors while inside our venue. We do not want to be in the position to ask for proof of vaccination at events, therefore everyone will still be asked to wear them.

  2. The Governor has announced that when a county has reached 65% vaccination of residents (ages 16+) the restrictions in that county can go to “low risk”. Yamhill County is currently at about 53%.

  3. As of April 23rd, 2021 Yamhill County has been operating in the “high risk” category. That means that we are limited to 50 people in our venue at one time.

  4. Here is a breakdown of how each risk category impacts your guest count:

    1. “Low” Risk - 150 guests

    2. “Moderate” Risk - 100 guests

    3. “High” Risk - 50 guests

    4. “Extreme” Risk - Zero guests, we need to talk about rescheduling your event.

  5. We still need to get contact tracing forms and seating charts filled out so that we can help finalize your floor plan with social distancing guidelines in place.

  6. Masks are still required at this time, unless actively eating or drinking.

  7. Social distancing of maintaining 6 feet of distance between guests outside of their table group is still required.

  8. Catering guidelines are less clear than they were in the fall, but we still require only licensed caterers to provide food and no self-service dining options are allowed. All food must be served by the caterer directly to guests.

  9. Any other activities like dancing and live music still need to be discussed to ensure all safety measures are in place.

  10. And as always, reach out with your specific questions so we can work together to make sure that we create a safe, fun, and memorable event for you and your guests!
